for the money, its a pretty sweet watch. I wear it when me's and timmy is swimmin down by te watering hole. its waterproof n all.

I really like it when i'm playin baseball with the fellas too. I slid once in the dirt, scratched up the face a bit on a sharp rock, but at least i didn't get hurt. Everyone is so envious of me. I hit the ball harder and run faster now.

I had a problem with it tho, once. I needed a battery change and, although I didn't know this when i bought it, but you need the nuclear reactor battery that Ironman runs off. There's only 2 of them (if you've seen the movie) so it's on backorder for me.

Overall, its really sweet. I wear my casio most of the time, but when i'm in harlem picking up babes, you know what i'll be rocking.

This watch actually lets you know what time it is...every time you like at it. And it's simple to figure out. In the picture above, the hour hand is pointing to the number 10, and the minute hand is pointing to the number 11 (look at the outside of the clock), so it is ten-eleven, or 10:11. This watch is can tell me it's 10:11 when it's 10:11.

Notice that the hour hand is not pointing exactly at the 10, but has moved a little to the 11. As the minute hand moves all the way around the clock, the hour hand moves from one hour to the next. You will be using a program that shows you how the two hands move as we just described.

Most watches only show the hour numbers. This one only has 4 of the numbers listed so it's a bit complicated.

I highly recommend this product.

I just noticed these on here, while I didn't buy mine from amazon I wanted to share my story, This is the best watch I have ever owned. I have had it for over 7 years now and have never changed the battery and for me and a watch that is surprising but not the best thing about this watch. I am a scuba diver and there is a swimming hole that friends of mine and I go to right at the end of summer just to see what people have lost over the year. It isn't very deep 25 ft. or so the current is steady and flowing it is a river after all. Well we were on a dive I was wearing it on my waist attached to Velcro when I got through with the dive and looked to see the time so I could log it in my log book I noticed my watch was missing I liked that watch a lot and noted in my logbook that I lost it, Now comes the great part. A month and 4 days later a friend of mine and I were diving the treasure hole and over swims my friend with something covered in river slime. There it was my watch, after the dive I cleaned off the face and it was still ticking still on the right time and everything on it still worked. If this watch ever does go kaput I will be replacing it with another just like it. I love this thing.

"Bombproof Watch, but has drawbacks" 2010-02-21

First, this is a watch that is is good on features.

Pros:

Bombproof construction and watch band design.

2 digital time zones, 1 analog face for 3 total time zone function.
It is not too big or small and fits the wrist comfortably so it does not hang off and catch on things like other larger watches do.

It has a basic alarm, chrono function, date feature.



Cons:

No "second" analog hand, I like accuracy in timing my watches down to the second even in analog mode.

The analog minute hand gets in the way of the digital clock, chrono, date, and basic function. The hour hand needs to be shorter / thinner or digital LCD screen lower to clear the hour hand. Annoying Problem when dealing with accuracy of function features.


Overall: Ok watch, there are better ones out there with clearer features like the newer Casio Military all black versions for the same price. They have good LCD screens and ease of use operation.

The hour hands do not hold illum glow for night use on the analog hands although the function LCD screen illums fine (if not obstructed by the hour hand).

I originally wanted a higher-end casio but decided it wasn't worth the $300. This watch, on the other hand, is awesome for the price. I really like how it looks and is very comfortable to wear. The only negatives would be that you can't really read the digital display unless you press the light button and the minute hand covers the display at times. Finally, I wish I could turn on a hourly chime but doesn't seem like it supports this.

Anyways, great watch at a great price.

I wanted a watch that was not too expensive, water proof and cool looking. This watch was a perfect fit for my requirements. The only concern with this watch is that it is difficult to read digital display when minutes hand is above it. But then over a period of time I realized that I do not use digital display much so it does not irritate me much.

I dont see what all the fuss is over with such an expensive watch. It dosen't even look like their is a way to tell time judging by picture. And also who would spend over 100k for a single watch, with that much you could get over 30 new top az notch watches. Before buying look at price to other watches. The rolex looks a hck of alot better. If you look to waste money on an expensive watch than go visit your doctor and say you have a thinking disorder, other than that you all might want to look somewhere elseand also this is obveousley no time machine because they do not exist, I repeat they don't exist. With all that said browse before deciding on such a expensive watch peeps.

I've had this watch for about 3 days now and I am liking it more each day.

When I first received the watch I was a bit worried about the ability to easily read the reverse LCD display, though after a while and testing it out in bright sunlight, it is very easy to read. The features on this watch are fantastic. The manual is quite large but there is great information in there and it makes you appreciate the watch even more. Synching the watch works great, it hasn't failed yet when it auto-synchs during the night. I am very happy with this watch and have no regrets with this purchase.

Pros: 1. Tons of useful features. Compass, moon phase, altitude, Baro Pres, and tide are very nice to have.
2. Looks great with the reverse LCD screen.
3. Very comfortable and not too big like one would think.
4. All around great watch.

Cons: 1. Temperature is only accurate after taking the watch off your wrist and letting it aclimate for 15- 20 minutes (per instruction manual).
2. Bezel turns much to easily. When worn under a sweatshirt or jacket, it turns from the simple pressure
of your clothes.

These cons though are minor in my opinion and I am happy with the purchase. Enjoy the watch if you choose to buy it.

This watch has style, function and accuracy. I have Omega and Tag, they are sporty model and good watchs too but price is 10 times more than Pathfinder!? I like the color, wrist band and size. I am totally satisfied with it, and might buy if it is priced double.

This is the same as the PRG-130Y minus the Atomic sync, which you can get in other markets or source elsewhere for about $150 less (at the time of this writing the watch was $380.00 now it's about a $50 difference from the PRG-130Y), For those of us in the US who want atomic sync this is the only game in town. It is a good quality watch but construction these days ain't what it used to be. I have not yet seen anny indication of "paint" coming off like was reported on early 1300 series watches. Some elements feel cheap, namely the band, but that is easily replaced. but so far everything has held up well. I don't think you will be disappointed and it has a little edge with the just plain cool factor. I wish this watch was available in the US without having to pay for Atomic Sync and Solar Power.

You CAN switch units between metric and US on this model as well as the PRG-130Y, so if you can live without the atomic sync (I could have with a + or - 20 seconds a month accuracy) You might try to find a PRG130-Y on a secondary market. I hate to express buyers remorse (and where is my Amazon verified purchase notation Amazon?) but I feel like I paid a bit much for something that there was far too little information on, my fault for not waiting a little bit!

Still this is an excellent time piece, the reverse LCD is the best int the industry and although I have read complaints of the accuracy of the other gauges I have experienced none so inaccurate as to be a concern. I'm not climbing K@ and I think some complaints are because of improper calibration which you have to do, especially with the compass depending on where you live. Solid watch my only real gripe is the way Amazon is handling these "exclusives" which are simply rebadged Pro-Trek European/Oceana/JDM watches.
